Sophie and Josh began dating in May of 2016. They are very excited to be married on their 10 year anniversary. Their journey started at Josh's senior prom, where Sophie thought they were going as friends, but Josh had other ideas. Since, then their journey has been long, but so fun, between living in three different cities, adding two animals to their family, Sophie completing her doctoral degree, and so many laughs and adventures in between.

Josh asked Sophie to marry him on an annual friend ski trip in Boone, NC.
